Quamar always had a love of tinkering and working on computers. From the age of 11 years old, he would prepare and build electronics, aside from his father’s wishes. When he attended Olney High School he signed up for any class that was tech-focused. When he started at Penn State University he took any class he could and fell in love with the profession. Quamar started at another tech company and realized he could run his own business, which he started out of his home with his wife.

DigiCompute, formally Best IT Guru, has focused on performing IT Services, network security, installing security cameras, web design, and now they are heavily focusing on supporting offices such as dentists, lawyers, and doctors.

Quamar is a recent graduate of the Community College of Philadelphia PowerUp your Business Program. After taking the course, he really stresses the importance of creating the right business system from the beginning. He now believes when you’re building a business, it’s not about you, it’s about building the right team to make sure the customer is the top priority. PowerUp your Business Program has played a huge roll in how he has grown his business in all aspects: marketing, accounting, and team building. Being coached throughout and after the program has helped him know whether he is making good or bad choices.

Quamar loves the Olney community because it is where he grew up with his family, and there are many community meetings and resources that are available that people should take advantage of.
